All families who have their principal place of residence in the province of Antwerp on 1 January of the tax year are subject to the general provincial tax. This means that students who have their main residence in a student room in Antwerp must also pay this tax. Most international students have a residence permit in Antwerp, which means they will receive a tax letter.
In 2023, the provincial tax will be €43 per family (a person living alone OR two or more persons who legally live together)
You will receive the tax letter in your letterbox or your eBox if you have activated it.
