New students’ studio (also for trainees e.g. Court of Justice, PHD students, exchange programmes university,…) located on the ground floor of a new building situated in Antwerp in the Jan Vanhoenackerstraat 60 (near Ledeganckkaai) in a building consisting of 123 rooms and 24 studios on a ‘woonerf’ (home zone). The room is oriented to the South-east and is overlooking the private garden and the new court of justice. The surface is about 26 M2.
The studio has an entrance hall, living and sleeping area, bathroom with shower and sink and a kitchenette (cooker with 2 vitro-ceramic hobs, stainless steel sink, refrigerator and oven). Doors have a badge system. Professional internet and wifi available (for a fee).The studio is painted and has matching blinds and lighting (according to the guidelines of the architect). The room is equipped with a smoke detector and in the basement there is personal bike hook numbered S.0.4.. The building meets the strictest requirements for fire safety and the common parts and the entrance are equipped with CCTV. Access is controlled by a badge system. There is a garden patio with outdoor seating area (picnic tables) and a private green area equipped with a lawn and there will be a newly landscaped park between the courthouse and the campus. It is situated on walking / biking distance of the major schools and close to the new Karel De Grote campus and the Tropical Institute.
One can also make use of the common kitchens (equipped with dishwasher and micro wave oven).
The studio is furnished (double bed, wardrobe, bookshelf, 2 desks, vintage table set, side-board) and fully equipped (lights, eating and cooking utensils, sheetsand d towels etc.)
The meters (water, electricity, heath) are individual.
It is possible for a couple.
